Portrait of FYONAFINN

FYONAFINN (b. 1991) is a Bristol-based Singaporean-Chinese multidisciplinary artist, storyteller, poet, and community facilitator. Working primarily in experimental lettering and mixed media, their practice sits at the intersection of language and image, using letterforms as both material and message.

Their process spans printmaking, painting, photography, digital design and public speaking, informed by their activism in intersectional feminism and an endless fascination with the human condition, linguistics, subcultures, and religion. Equal parts collector and maker, they build tactile art that doubles as time capsules for shared human experiences in migration, surviving abuse, and intergenerational trauma.
